The audio-guided tour on a smartphone with REWIND
What is REWIND and why?
Rewind is the application that offers you an audio-guided tour from your smartphone!
All you have to do is scan the QR Code then select the language of your choice and follow the sweet voice of our guide! Stories and guidance are automatically triggered according to the GPS position of the bus, from your phone.
For a more ecological and personalized visit, download the commented tour app on your smartphone and bring your own headphones on the day of the visit: more comfortable, durable, and zero waste! Together, let’s reduce the use of disposable headphones.
During cultural visits (museums, tourist sites, etc.), disposable headphones are often distributed with the audio guides. While convenient, these headphones are usually made of plastic and intended for a single use, which generates unnecessary waste and contributes to plastic pollution.
The responsible alternative: a guided tour application on a smartphone
We encourage the use of a mobile app that turns your own smartphone into a personal audio guide . This has several advantages:
✅ Eco-friendly
- No more disposable headphones! You use your own reusable headphones or listen directly through your speaker.
- Reduction of single-use plastic waste.
✅ Hygienic
- You use your personal equipment.
✅ Practical information
- The application can often be downloaded in advance (offline possible).
- You can easily access audio commentary, text, images, videos… at your own pace.
This solution has several environmental advantages:
- Elimination of the distribution of 85,000 disposable headphones over 2.5 years.
- Reduction of plastic and electronic waste.
- Reduction in the consumption of raw materials necessary for their manufacture.
- Reduced transportation, storage, and packaging requirements.
- Modernize the customer experience with a multilingual, scalable solution.
